    Perfusion imaging using MRI has a great potential for diagnostics and treatment monitoring in oncology. DCE-MRI is based on acquisition of T1-weighted image sequence following a contrast-agent (CA) application. The acquisition takes typically at least 4min to capture also the slow parenchymal CA dynamics. We propose a time-effective and new processing approach, based on two short (2x1minute) DCE aqcuisitions: one to capture the vascular and one for the parenchymal phase. The time between the two recordings can be used e.g. for DSC-MRI.
