Electrochemical Performances of Diamond Like Carbon Films for Pb(II) Detection in Tap Water Using Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry Technique
Original language description
In this study, the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) electrode deposited on a planar screen-printed electrochemical cell, was used as working electrode for electrochemical detection in trace amounts of heavy metals, especially lead, using Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping voltammetry (DPASV) technique. Pb+2 were detected at a potential and time deposit equal to 1.5 V and 5 s respectively and scan rate of 0.07 V/s. The results obtained show a very high sensitivity of the DLC electrodes towards Pb. Through DPASV technique, tap water of Lyon city (France) could be analysed, using the method of standard additions with a lead solution 1 mg/L. the obtained concentration of lead was 0.850.05 ?g/L, confirmed using ICP-MS, less than the prescribed value by French standard (10 ?g/L of Pb in drinking water).
