New Approaches in Technology of Optical Frequency References for Laser Standards
Original language description
The contribution is oriented towards new aproaches in technology of optical frequency references for frequency stabilization of laser standards. A set of absorption cells made of borosilicate instead of traditionally used fused silica glass filled to certain saturation pressure of ultra-pure molecular iodine was prepared and tested. A method of hyperfine transitions linewidth measurement was used for spectral properties of molecular iodine evalutation and also described as an alternative method for verification of absorption media purity. Prepared cells were used for frequency stabilization of frequency doubled Nd:YAG laser standard.
