Original language description
Brunn, O., Canals, B., Rougemaille, N. Adjustable fictional temperature in athermal, field demagnetized artificial square magnets [poster]. Lenzburg, Frontiers in Artificial Spin Ice 2023, 14.06.2023-16.06.2023. In this work we study the results of applying field demagnetization protocol to a series of lattices with varying lattice parameter By careful comparison with Monte Carlo simulations, which probes properties of a numerical twin of the experimental system, we find that our series of snapshots can be seen as approximation of thermodynamic evolution in limited range of effective temperatures. We emphasize that the full experimental series can be approximated by a single spin–spin Hamiltonian.
