    The presentation will first introduce the field of Forensic psychology in Czech Republic. It will concentrate upon the successes and stagnations of the field, which can be attributed to the political and historical development of the country. After a brief historical background and demographic information, the presentation will discuss the history and publication development of the field of Forensic Psychology and its use in practice. The second part of the presentation will concentrate upon the issue of reintegration and resocialization of offenders into society, especially the success or failure of reintegration and predictors of re-offending. The research included 75 released offenders on probation from Czech Republic. The aspects studied included personality, intellect, level of subjective satisfaction and motivation to change, attribution styles, attachment to environment and other dynamic factors such as substance abuse and employment.
