The focus of the chapter is upon an original qualitative approach called Narrative Oriented Inquiry (NOI). The influences underpinning the emergence and development of this psychological approach to narrative inquiry are described. Model of NOI within an expanded view of different approaches to narrative data analysis is outlined and exemplified. DreamCatcher model of narrative intelligence that is specifically focused on understanding of everyday narrative thinking is developed within NOI approach.
