This paper presents evidence about Early Mesolithic settlement (Pre-Boreal, 11.5 – 10,2 ka) in rockshelters of the North Bohemian sandstone region, especially those excavated during the 2015 season (Kostelní rokle, Smolný kámen, Dvě věže) in their stratigraphic and environmental contexts. The topography and artefact typology displays divergences from the Final Paleolithic but similarities to the later Mesolithic industries.
