Original language description
The karyotype of Zingel zingel from the Morava River (Czech Republic) was analyzed. The diploid chromosome number was 2n=48 in females and 2n=47 in males, however, one large unpaired metacentric chromosome was present in males. This proves the presence of the X1X1X2X2/X1X2Y multiple sex chromosome system developed from the fusion of two sub- or acrocentric chromosomes where a sex chromosome Y was present as one of them.

Czech description
Byl sledován karyotyp drska většího z řeky Moravy (Česká republika). Diploidní počet chromozomů byl u samic 2n=48, u samců pouze 2n=27, ale zde byl přítomen jeden velký nepárový metacentrický chromozom. To ukazuje na přítomnost X1X1X2X2/X1X2Y mnohonásobného pohlavního chromozomálního systému způsobeného fůzí dvou sub nebo akrocentrických chromozomů z nichž jeden byl pohlavní chromozom Y.
