Lowe et al. suggest there is a paradox afoot: how can hybrid invasion occur when hybrids are less fit? They then make the fascinating argument that spatial sorting may resolve this paradox by acceleratingnhybrid invasion. We question both arms of this argument. Is there really anparadox and, if so, can spatial sorting resolve it?
