Contribution attends to aspects of mining activities in the landscape of Dubňany town and its surroundings. From viewpoint of abiotic part of landscape we emphasized characteristic of relief, bedrock, surface and underground water, climate, soils. Reliefand rock environment are characterised on the example of small town Dubňany, special attention is devoted to deep mining of lignite and subssidence forms in hilly land relief of the agricultural landscape in the southern Moravia.

Příspěvek se zabývá aspekty vlivu hornických aktivit na krajinu Dubňan a okolí. Z hlediska abiotické časti krajiny klademe důraz na charakterizování reliéfu a horninového prostředí, povrchové a podzemní vody, klima, půdu. Na příkladě malého města Dubňanyje charakterizován reliéf a horninové prostředí, zejména pak jeho specifikum ? vliv hlubinné těžby lignitu a její útlum na pahorkatinný reliéf zemědělské krajiny jižní Moravy.
