In the background of our interest in the modelling of thermo-mechanical phenomena is its relevancy to the assessment of underground repositories of nuclear waste. In this context, one of the most internationally recognised project is the Aspo Prototype Repository in Sweden, which is a full-scale experimental realisation of the KBS-3 concept of spent nuclear fuel repository. This paper deals with mathematical simulation of the KBS prototype nuclear waste repository in a simplified form.

Czech description
V pozadí zájmu o modelování termo-mechanických jevů je jejich důležitost pro posuzování podzemních uložišť jaderného odpadu. V tomto kontextu náleží k nejuznávanějším projektům Aspo Prototype Repository ve Švédsku, plnohodnotná experimentální realizace uložiště vyhořelého jaderného paliva podle koncepce KBS-3. Článek se zabývá matematickou simulací tohoto uložiště ve zjednodušené formě.
