Wide range of rock resistivity and its huge changes caused by changing conditions inside of the massif enable to use this reality to observe rock massif changes that are caused by underground mining. We used this fact to observe the progress of the margin of subsidence depression by repeated resistivity measurements in the Karviná region.

Czech description

Široký rozsah odporu hornin a jeho velké změny způsobené měnícími se podmínkami uvnitř masívu umožňují využít tuto skutečnost ke sledování změn horninového masívu způsobených hlubinným dobýváním. Tohoto faktu jsme využili ke sledování vývoje okraje poklesové kotliny opakovaným odporovým měřením v oblasti Karviné.
