Analysis of horizontal movements accompanying development of subsidence depression in non-trivial geo-mechanical conditions
Original language description
Deep mining deposits can cause the gradual movement of the overburden rock to the extracted space or most appropriately the overburden rock can be curved in to the extracted space. If during mining a large space was extracted, the overburden rock can gradually fall by bits to the extracted space with time and at the end the surface area can be concaved. The surface movement generally has a common direction that is divided into subsidence and horizontal shift of objects and stabilized points.
