Selected geomorphological features of en echelon faults on the southeastern margin of the Bohemian Highlands, Czech Republic
Original language description
The contribution deals with basic structural and morphological characteristics and plausible development of several selected areas on the southeastern margin of the Bohemian Highlands toward the Outer Carpathian Depressions where sets of different typesof subparallel repeated landforms have originated ? elongated ridges and small basins, slope steps or sections of valleys. Two kinds of rocks of different resistance are present in the lithology of the area ? the solid Protero/Palaeozoic basement rocks of the Bohemian Massif and the weakly consolidated clastic sediments in the Neogene molasse basin of the Carpathian Foredeep.
