Influence of Temperature on the Permeability of Rocks
Original language description
Changes in the physical properties due to temperature increase have been investigated for three genetically different types of rocks (marble, sandstone, granite). Hg-porosity and permeability of rocks were analysed. The permeability of the specimens wasdetermined during axial loading at a constant triaxial state of stress. Greater permeability changes are registered for rocks with compact structure and low porosity. These types of rocks are characterised by line contacts between the grains.
