Design of the database for prediction of cutting parameters abrasive water jet technology
Original language description
The paper deals with study of selected geometrical parameters of surface topography created by abrasive water jet(AWJ) in various materials. The objective is to predict the influence of fundamental technological parameters of AWJ on surface topography. Asystematic database of main input and output data was designed and created from obtained experimental data. Both optical and mechanical methods of surface topography measurement were used to determine the surface quality parameters. Proposed database system shoud be used to assess the quality of the newly established surface, to ensure optimization of this technology and to contribute to its automation to increase the efficiency of the technology.
