Simulation of real removal of heat-affected concrete layers by water jets during repair works
Original language description
The contribution focuses on laboratory simulation of real-life removal of degraded layers ofnheat-affected concrete panels by means of hydrodemolition. Several concrete mixtures werenprepared. They differed in used aggregates, types of cement and presence of polypropylenenfibres. Degraded layers were removed by rotating continuous high speed water jet. For comparison, nthe same process was used for the removal of surface layers of concretes whichnwere not thermally loaded. Resistance of concretes against water jet penetration was studied.
