Gender violence during war and migration [workshop for Syrian migrant women]

Original language description

The workshop was organized by the Turkish organization Hayata Destek for Syrian migrant women living in Turkey to come together and share their experiences with gendered violence they have experienced while fleeing war in their home country, while living in refugee camps as well as in their own homes or as child brides married off for economic reasons. Please come listen to stories of pain and suffering but also of hope and resilience. This will be a safe space for all migrant women who have suffered from any form of violence to listen to one another and speak about their traumas related with physical and psychological abuse and also to help humanitarian organizations find ways to provide support to migrant women.
