Adolescent Behavior in Byzantine Sources? Some Observations on Young Byzantine Women Pursuing their Goals
Original language description
The article examines passages in Byzantine literature, which describe actions of adolescent women. Identifying patterns of adolescent behavior in chronicles and in the lives of the saints, traditionally perceived as topos-ridden, based on modern research allows for a new interpretation and perception of these narrative texts as historical sources.
