The three-day historically oriented conference was organised by the Research Centre for the History of Science and the Commission Women in Science of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science/Division of History of Science in co-operation with the National Contact Centre ů Women in Science. The Centre organised a parallel section titled äGendered Knowledge and the Reshaping of the Normal Science. The main objective of the panel was to introduce of gender oriented epistemologies and toprovide a forum for female scientists with the aim of establishing close co-operation.
