The purpose of this seminar was to ask how perceptions of political corruption are determined by social status and value orientations among Czech citizens. The seminar presented the initial results of the Czech ISSP 2006 Role of Government Survey (as well as an analysis of the ISSP 2000 Social Inequality Survey), in which questions on corruption perceptions were incorporated into the module for the first time. The seminar examined the degree to which perceptions of corruption among politicians and elected officials are determined by respondents? socio-economic status, prestige, value orientations, and trust in government and civil society.

Cílem semináře bylo zjistit jak dalece je vnímání politické korupce determinováno sociálním statusem a hodnotovými orientacemi českých občanů. Na semináři byly prezentovány první výsledky českého ISSP 2006 Role vlády (a také výsledky ISSP 2000 Sociální nerovnost). Prezentované výsledky se týkaly míry, jakou je vnímání korupce mezi politiky a volenými zastupiteli ovlivňováno respondentovým socioekonomických statusem, prestiží, hodnotovými orientacemi a důvěrou ve vládu a občanskou společnost.
