This paper examines the relation between the effect of the electoral system on the representation of the parties and candidates and the electoral behaviour of the voters in elections to the House of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, especially in the latest elections in 2006. With the assistance of dates from election statistics and data from the survey: Czech Election Study 2006, it analyzes the consequences of legal threshold, natural threshold, and preferential personal voting.

Tato kapitola zkoumá vztah mezi působením volebního systému na reprezentaci stran a kandidátů a volebním chováním voličů na případech voleb do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu ČR, zejména pak na posledních volbách z roku 2006. Pomocí dat z volebních statistik a dat z výzkumu Česká volební studie 2006 jsou ve kapitole analyzovány důsledky tří prvků volebního systému: volební klauzule, přirozeného prahu a preferenčního hlasování.
