This chapter gives an overview of the results of a comparative research on bodily citizenship that was conducted in four european countries: Netherlands, Sweden, Czech Republic and Portugal. It shows how the bodily citizenship was discussed and constructed in these countries and identifies factors that led to different development of the issues of abortion and prostitution. It stresses the impact of women´s movements on these issues.
