The chapter deals with the path to a more equal involvement of both parents in care, housework and paid work within two heterosexual couples of different age in the Czech society, where gender-unequal division of duties in the sphere of family and private life prevails. The chapter identifies as one of the main sources of more egalitarian attitudes of married couples especially to care of their child/ren the men´s experiences from their families of origin.
