Albrecht of Waldstein and his major architectural legacy
Original language description
The article presents two of the most remarkable architectural projects that Albrecht of Waldstein commissioned in Bohemia between 1623 and 1634. The first is a large and well-preserved palace in Prague, containing magnificent halls, galleries, chapel, grottoes, garden and riding school, and the second is a designed landscape in Jičín, the centre of Waldstein's Duchy of Friedland.
