The genotoxicity of extractable organic matter (EOM) adsorbed on the airborne respirable particles (PM<10mm) has been determined in three European cities Prague, Košice and Sofia using the comet assay. The significant location- and season-related differences in ambient air genotoxicity were determined when EOM quantity per cubic meter if air (mg/m3) was taken into accout. Genotoxicita extrahovatelné organické látky (EOM) adsorbované na respirabilních částečkách vzduchu (PM<10mm) byla stanovována ve třech evropských městech: v Praze, Košicích a Sofii metodou Comet assay. Byly zjištěny významné rozdíly v genotoxicitě ovzduší v závislosti na lokalitě a sezóně (při porovnání EOM v mg/m3)
