Comparison of p53 levels in lymphocytes and in blood plasma of nuclear power plant workers

  • Original language description

p23 levels were assessed in lymphocytes and in blood plasma of workers from two Czech nuclear power plants ů Temelin (114 subjects) and Dukovany (108 subjects). As a control group was used 46 subjects living in České Budějovice. The concentration of p23in lymphocytes was significantly higher in workers from NPP Dukovany than in workers from NPP Temelin as well as in the control group. Other factors affecting p23 levels were studies: smoking and the effect of polymorphisms in metabolic and DNA repair genes

Porovnání hladiny p53 v lymfocytech a krevní plazmě pracovníků jaderných elektráren

  • Czech description

Byla hodnocena hladina proteinu p53 v lymfocytech a krevní plazmě pracovníků dvou českých jaderných elektráren: Temelín (114 osob) a Dukovany (108 osob). Kontrolní skupinu tvořilo 46 osob z Českých Budějovic. Hladina p53 v lymfocytech byla signifikantněvyšší u pracovníků JE Dukovany v porovnání s pracovníky JE Temelín i s kontrolní skupinou. Byly také studovány další faktory ovlivňující hladiny proteinu p53: kouření a vliv polymorfismu v metabolických a DNA reparovaných genech
