Effect of UVA and UVB irradiation on the metabolic profile of rabbit cornea and lens analysed by HR-MAS H NMR spectroscopy.

  • Original language description

UVB irradiation caused significant metabolic changes of rabbit corneas (decreased amount of ascorbate, myo-inositol, hypotaurine and choline). UVA rays were without these effects. UVB as well as UVA rays did not evoke metabolic disturbances of the intraocular lens.

  • Czech name

Účinek UVA a UVB záření na metabolický profil králičí rohovky a čočky analyzovaný HR-MAS H NMR spektroskopií

  • Czech description

UVB záření způsobilo metabolické změny v králičí rohovce: snížení množství askorbátu, myo-inositolu, hypotaurinu a cholinu. UVA záření tyto změny nevyvolalo. Poškození nitrooční čočky nebylo vyvoláno ani UVB, ani UVA zářením.
