Relationship between urinary 15-F2t-isoprostane and 8-oxodeoxyguanosine levels and breast cancer risk
Original language description
The role of oxidative stress in breast cancer risk measured by urinary levels of 15-F2t-isoprostane (15-F2t-IsoP) and 8-oxodeoxyguanosine (8-oxodG) was analyzed in 400 cases and 401 controls. While the risk increased significantly with increasing 15-F2t-IsoP levels, no effect of 8-oxodG levels was observed.
Czech name
Vztah mezi hladinou 15-F2t-isoprostanu a 8-oxodeoxyguanosinu v moči a rizikem vzniku rakoviny prsu
Czech description
Role oxidačního poškození na riziko vzniku rakoviny prsu byla studována prostřednictvím analýzy hladin 15-F2t-isoprostanu (15-F2t-IsoP) and 8-oxodeoxyguanosinu (8-oxodG) v moči u 400 nemocných osob a 401 kontroly. Zatímco se riziko signifikantně zvyšovalo s hladinami 15-F2t-IsoP, 8-oxodG neměl žádný vliv.
