Time-resolved FRET between GPCR ligands reveals oligomers in native tissues
Original language description
The artical "Time-resolved FRET between GPCR ligands reveals oligomers in native tissues" shows for the first time that G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) form oligomeric complexes also in native tissues and not only in heterologous expression systems.Oligomerization of these receptors regulates their function and pharmacological properties and thus influences all the processes controled by GPCRs that are involved in the cell response to extracellular stimuli.
