A DNA polymerase epsilon inhibitor activates the ribo and deoxyribo modes of primase expression and induces a unique phenomenon of primer accumulation.
Original language description
Using direct analysis of the reaction products with radioactively labelled RNA or DNA, the ribo and deoxyribo mode of expression of Pr activities of the Pr-alpha DNA pol enzyme complex was compared in the presence of COMDP, as well as the influence of the presence of MIMO and BuPdGTP on the effect of COMDP. From the new findings obtained the concept was formulated of the bimodal effect of COMDP on the active site responsible for the ribo and deoxyribo mode of Pr expression and on the active site responsible for the coupling of Pr and alpha DNA pol activities into one reaction of the Pr-alpha DNA pol enzyme complex.
