Original language description
The study describes immunosuppressive effects of vermiculine, a macrocyclic aglycosidic dilactone isolated from Penicillium vermiculatum. It was shown that vermiculine is a potential immunosuppressive drug acting by a mechanisms distinct from that of cyclosporine A, and thus it may be used alone or in combination with other drugs from immunosuppressive purposes.
