Original language description
Examples of collection,fixation and study of folklore in Czech and Czechoslovakia. A new period in folklore collecting was opened up by Josef Štefan Kubin (1864 – 1965). Jaromír Jech (1918 – 1992) conducted repeated research in “Kubin´s” field and prepared a new edition of them after fifty years. A long-term collection in the field, carried out in Slovakia in 1928−1947 (Slavomir Wollman´s students). Experience from own fieldwork in the region of southern Wallachia (1974, 2014).
