The international interdisciplinary workshop was organized as one of the final outputs of the grant project “The Broadside Ballads in Brno Historical Collections” (DG18P02OVV021). The workshop brought together Czech and international scholars interested in the phenomenon of broadside ballads or related phenomena of popular culture (chapbooks, leaflets, broadsheet etc.). It created an interdisciplinary platform for sharing the researchers´ results from different humanities (literary scholars, linguists, historians, ethnomusicologists, musicologists, ethnographs).
