The Czech version of Microsoft Word´s Thesaurus is evaluated regarding the category of gender in Czech. Paradigmatic symmetries/asymmetries in representation of men and women in Czech and Microsoft Word´s Thesaurus are discussed: the analysis concerns the treatment of the lexical gender, word formation process of derivation, and handling of common gender nouns (epicenes).

Česká verze Microsoft Word´s Thesaurus je hodnocena z hlediska práce s kategorií gramatického rodu v češtině. Jsou probírány paradigmatické symetrie asymmetrie v reprezentaci mužského a ženského rodu v češtině a v Tezauru: analýza se týká práce s lexikálním rodem, s odvozováním ženských substantiv (přechylování) a s představením obourodých a vespolných substantiv.
