Writing for Publication: Teacher Training

Original language description

The goal of the course is to prepare teachers to produce and teach courses of Writing for Publication, in which PhD students/ junior researchers will write publishable papers in English under the teacher's supervision. The course follows the basic principles of research work and ethics. Teachers will be able to accompany students throughout the whole publishing process, including the choice of a journal, communication with journal editors and reviewers, preparation of the manuscript for blind peer review, etc. Apart from teaching courses of Writing for Publication, the acquired competences may be used to teach the general principles of academic texts in English, which students may find useful in writing their diploma theses and dissertations. This course is not a course in academic English.
