Review of the international conference Universities in Central Europe?Crossroads of Scholars from All over the World, which took place in Prague September 29-October 1, 2011. The Conference organized by the European Society for History of Science, the Charles University, the Institute for Contemporary History ASCR and other Czech, Slovak, Polish and Hungarian institutions, was devoted to the mobility of scholars since the Enlightenment, to the visiting professor phenomenon, and to the 100th anniversaryof Albert Einstein?s appointment at the Prague University.
