The paper provides an introduction regarding legal aspects related to brain-computer interfaces, a technology that enables a direct communication pathway between organic nervous systems and information and communication technologies. Apart from brief overview of possibilities of the technology, questions of its impacts on human dignity, right to privacy, freedom of thought and freedom of expression are examined. The conclusion provides recommendations for future legislative reactions.
