The article contains the detailed description of several experimental methods, which are mark as moiré methods. They are the in-plane moiré, the projection moiré, the shadow moiré interferometry and the microscopic moiré interferometry. Their division iscarried out from the point of view of the principle into two groups: the geometric moiré and the coherent moiré.
