Near infrared Faraday rotation in CuFe 2O 4 spinel ferrite.

  • Original language description

Recent measurements of the Faraday rotation in the visible and near infrared spectral region on the copper ferrite films prepared by the sputtering method showed the anomalous behaviour of rotation at 1.8 .mu.m wavelength. Supposing the presence of Cu 2+ion on the A site, we can calculate the line shape of the observed anomaly.
