Original language description
The magnetization of the single crystal of the hexagonal UIrAl was studied. UIrAl is ferromagnet with T C =62K and a spontaneous magnetic moment of 0.96 .mu. B . The huge uniaxial anisotropy leads to characteristic hysteresis properties.
