Magnetic anisotropy of U 2 (Fe 1-x Co x ) 13.6 Si 3.4 (0.le.x.le.0.5).
Original language description
The spontaneous magnetic moment decreases from 23 to 14.mu. B /f.u. where as the Curie temperature increases with increasing x. The alloys exhibit a large basal-plane type magnetocrystalline anisotropy. A large anisotropy constant K 2 is a strong evidence for magnetic ordering of U sublattice.
