The NA57 experiment has been designed to study the onset of the strange baryon enhancements in Pb-Pb with respect to p-Be collisions, first observed by WA97 at 160 A GeV/c.

Czech description
Experiment NA57 byl navržen pro nalezení počátečního bodu, ve kterém začíná obohacení produkce podivných baryonů a anti-baryonů ve srážkách Pb-Pb ve srovnání se srážkami p-Be. Toto obohacení bylo poprvé pozorováno při experimentu WA97 při 160 A GeV/c.
