    Diffuse scattering(DS) due to the polar nanoregions in perovskite relaxor ferroelectric Pb(Zn 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O 3 with 8% PbTiO 3 was investigated by cold neutron scattering with high energy resolution(8 GHz). Since no quasielastic witdh of the DS was foundin thie experiment, it is concluded that the characteristic relaxation frequency assosated with this DS is less than 1-2GHz evan at 500 K.
