Characterization of a resonator using entangled two-photon states.
Original language description
Propagation of a photon from entangled photon pair through a Fabry-Perot resonator is utilized to obtain chatacteristics of the resonator. The photon exiting the resonator is mixed with its entangled twin in Hong-Ou-Mandel interferometer. Response of theresonator to an incident optical field with the resolution up to tens of femtoseconds can be obtained from the measured coincidence-count interference profile.
