Scintillation characteristics of PrF3:Ce single crystal
Original language description
Luminescence spectra and decay are measured under X- and gamma-ray excitation in single crystals of PrF3:Ce3% prepared by the micro-pulling-down method and compared with those CeF3. The dominant emission of Ce3+ is peaking at 285 nm and both the photoluminescence and scintillation decay show similar deca times of 17 and 20 ns, respectively
