    Growth and charge transfer luminescence of Yb3+-doped YAlO3 single crystals

  • Original language description

    Yb3 +-doped YAlO3 single crystals have been grown by the Czochraski method with a radio-frequency heating system. Starting melt compositions of YbxY1 - xAlO3 were varied with x=0.02, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.45. The absorption, photoluminescence, and luminescence decay kinetics of Yb3 +-doped YAlO3 were investigated for the temperature range 4-300 K
