Anisotropic Gilbert damping in epitaxial Fe films on InAs(001)

Result description

We present frequency dependent ferromagnetic resonance measurements on Fe films grown on InAs(001). The Gilbert damping parameter ? was determined from the observed linear dependence of the FMR line width on the microwave frequency and is reduced by 35%along the intermediate magnetic axis as compared to the hard and easy axes. This effect is attributed to the structural growth of Fe on InAs

    Jsou předloženy výsledky měření šířek křivek v závislosti na kmitočtu, získané multifrekvenční feromagnetickou rezonancí v epitaxiálních vrstvách Fe napařených na InAs(001) podložky. Hodnota tlumícího Gilbertova faktoru je určená z lineární frekvenční závislosti šířek na kmitočtu a je redukována o 35 pc ve směru mezi lehkou a těžkou osou magnetizace. Jev je vysvětlen strukturou růstu Fe na monokrystalech InAs
