    Chemical generation of atomic iodine for a Chemical Oxygen-Iodine Laser (COIL) was investigated experimentally. Sufficiently high concentration of iodine (5 to 8x1015 cm-3) can be achieved by this method even at the pressure 4 - 9 kPa that enable to inject the gas with iodine atoms into the singlet oxygen flow upstream the nozzle throat in the chemical oxygen-iodine laser

    Byla experimentálně studována chemická produkce atomárního jódu pro Chemický kyslík-jódový laser (COIL). Touto metodou byla získána dostatečně velká koncentrace jódu (5 - 8 x 101 5/cm-3) i při tlacích 4 - 9 kPa, umožňující uvádění plynu s atomárním jódemdo proudu singletového kyslíku před hrdlem supersonické trysky laseru
