Tensile/compressive behaviour of non-lyered tetragonal Ni52.8Mn25.7Ga21.5 alloy
Result description
The stress-strain behaviour of the alloy NiMnGa with the non-modulated tetragonal martensite crystal structure was studied below Ms temperature. At ambient temperature the stress plateau of the detwinning showed a total strain of 21-22% with 1S-20MPa stress. The tension-compression cycling decreased the stress plateau to 10-12 MPa, while the increasing testing temperature lead to a value of 6.7 MPa close to the reverse transformation temperature

Czech description
Deformační chování ve slitině NiMnGa s nemodulovanou tetragonální martensitickou krystalovou strukturou bylo studováno pod Ms teplotou. Při pokojové teplotě napěťové plato pro detwinning vykazuje celkovou deformaci 21-22% při napětí 15-20 MPa. Cyklovánítah-tlak snižuje napětí plata na 10-12 MPa, zatímco rostoucí teplota testu vede k hodnotě 6-7 MPa v blízkosti teploty zpětné transformace
